Vodka is alcohol distilled
from grain or potatoes. The end
product is colorless and odorless, unless flavored.
Flavored vodkas are currently leading the industry in growth and new drink styles.
We carry approximately 17 brands of domestic and imported vodka, many of which come in a variety of flavors and proofs.
Gin
was first developed as medicine by the Dutch.
It is derived from pure alcohol re-distilled with juniper berries and other botanicals. We carry
approximately 9 brands of gin, both domestic and imported.
Rum
is any alcohol distillate from the fermented juice of sugar cane, sugar cane
syrup, sugar cane molasses, or other sugar cane byproducts distilled at least
than 190 proof. We feature approximately 14 rums from the United States, Puerto
Rico, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Trinidad, Barbados, Anguilla, Venezuela, and Bermuda.
These include light, dark, and flavored rums.
Rum is most commonly found in daiquiris, pina coladas, or mixed with Coke.
Tequila
is a spirit fermented from the juice of the Agave plant, and is either clear or
yellow in color. Tequila is
commonly used in margaritas and for shooters. We

The category Whisky (or Whiskey) includes Bourbon, Tennessee Whisky,
American Whisky, Canadian Whisky, Irish Whisky, Scotch Whisky, and Rye.

The Brandy
category includes domestic brandy, flavored brandy, cognac, armangnac, calvados,

distilled and aged. It is made in
all wine growing regions of the world, the most famous of which is the so-called
“Cognac Region” of France. Flavored
brandy is un-aged brandy either distilled from a fermented mash of fruit or with fruit flavoring
added during the distillation process. We
carry approximately 30 types of brandy.
The terms “liqueur”
and “cordial” are synonymous
and describe a wide range of spirits. They are simply neutral spirits (brandy, gin, rum, whisky, etc.) combined with flavoring materials with a heavy
sugar content. Some examples would
be: Anisette, Crème de Menthe, Triple Sec, and Schnapps. We carry over 40 different types of Liqueurs/Cordials.
